About us
Jules Handmade With Love is a small business with a BIG heart
Using nature and my love of animals as my inspiration, I am a self taught artist and artisan maker with so much to share from my shepherds hut in my garden, in the heart of beautiful East Yorkshire.
The story so far.....
I love chickens and I began to rescue hens in 2019.... I wanted something to remember my girls who had passed so that they would always be remembered....I looked for clay hearts to hang in the chicken's garden but couldn't find anything so I began to hand make clay hearts myself embellished with flowers and their names to hang in the trees....
.....and that was the start of Jules Handmade With Love, the rest is as they say history....
And the journey continues.....
...... In 2022 my husband bought me some watercolour paints and I found out that I also love to paint...my ink & watercolour art started in April 2022 and has become my passion. I love painting all animals and love to capture their personality, I started by doing portraits of my hens and if you know hens you will know they have wonderful personalities and to me that is the essence of a beautiful soul.
